SPIRITUAL LIFE STATEMENT

Hyde Park Singles is open to all faith traditions or expressions. It is equally open to people who are not part of a faith community. The intent is to bring singles together for mutual support, healing that crosses faith and non-faith barriers. We believe that the Spirit of God loves and accepts, fosters community, and respects boundaries. Since Hyde Park Singles is a ministry of Hyde Park Community UMC, worship, prayer, and spiritual practices are appropriate as a means of healing the inner soul or self. Our mutual openness to receive all persons is what makes this ministry distinctive and spiritually diverse.
